from Judy: Thank you for your prayers, Emails, Tweets and other messages of kindness since my unfortunate fall last Saturday from a treadmill that suddenly malfunctioned. Thankfully, I was only going about 3.6 mph at the time and walked away with "only" bruises, contusions, sprains and strains. I'm nowhere near ready to resume my exercise routine, so I appreciate your continued prayers.

from Judy: The CureSearch Walk was cancelled this morning due to severe thunderstorm warnings in Houston, TX, however, I walked the distance in MS. The official walk will be rescheduled.

from Judy: It's with somewhat of a heavy heart that I begin to pick myself up and move forward. Along with many of you reading this I'm mourning the loss of our friend, Keith Caldwell. It's time, however, for me to resume building my ministry and working on my own solo project. Keith generously shared with me many lessons from his years of experience as a vocalist, artist, entertainer and as a disciple for Christ. I know that I am better person and vocalist for knowing and working with him.

from Judy: Arrangements for Keith Caldwell: The family will have a memorial gathering Tuesday, November 22, 2011, 5pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in Houston, TX.

from Judy: Heaven's choir has gained an amazing voice and talent! Gospel Artist, Keith Caldwell, passed away earlier this evening after suffering complications from the treatment of cancer and kidney disease. On behalf of his family and close friends I want to say a sincere thank you for all of your prayers. As soon as I have any funeral information, I will pass it along.

from Judy: Please pray for safe travels for Keith Caldwell's family as they travel back to Houston to be with him. Keith has taken a turn for the worse, and he and his family need all of our prayers.

from Judy: Keith Caldwell was recently released from the ICU and is now recovering in an acute care facility. Keep praying for his healing!

from Judy: Gospel Artist, Keith Caldwell, is in extremely critical condition in Houston, TX. Asking for prayers for him and his family members as they travel to Houston to near his side.

from Judy: Same request as my last two: Please pray to the Great Healer for Gospel Recording Artist, Keith Caldwell, as he continues on a new treatment plan of radiation and chemo combined for Stage IV Carcinoma. He's back in the ICU this week and has begun dialysis.

CD UPDATE: What type of music will be on Judy's CD? The original songs that have been selected so far have been described as "a mix of traditional and country Gospel with a rock edge."

from Judy: Several recent visitors to my site have asked about availability of my (EP) CD project. Oh, how I'd love to tell you it's finished and currently available, but it's going to take a little while longer! If all goes well, we expect a release date near the end of August. I can't wait to share my songs with you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.

from Judy: Picked back up where I left off too long ago with an online Bible Study Course today. Why today? Could have been the tornadoes swirling around here yesterday, I'll admit. Prayers going up for all those affected in so many ways by the devastation. Only God holds the answer of why.

from Judy: Congratulations to Clayton B. Howell on his first #1 Single as a solo songwriter with "I Know The Lord," and congratulations also to Keith Caldwell for his second #1 Single as the recording artist. Clay and Keith had their first co-written #1 Single in July 2008 with "Come Hungry To His Banquet Table" recorded by Keith Caldwell.

CD PROGRESS: Judy finished writing and notated three songs this week that are likely to be a part of her upcoming pre-release CD in the late spring/early summer.

from Judy: After a few days of rest I think I can call myself recouped from my trip to Houston. Six days of visiting, worship services, concerts, rehearsals, songwriting/arranging and driving was exhausting but oh so much fun! This coming week's focus: songwriting.

from Judy: I am blessed to have been asked to be the Soloist for the area's Community Thanksgiving Service this coming Sunday night at Grace UMC here in Booneville. I'll be rehearsing tonight with Pianist, Doug Holland.

from Judy: A trip back to Houston, TX is confirmed for mid December. I will visit with family and friends and sing in Worship and in concert at Westbury UMC and for regular Saturday night Worship at Center Street Ministries.
